We have a long row of tulips growing up the side of our driveway. They all just started blooming this week, at least 40 tulips in this one section. Very colorful, very pretty. My wife's favorites flower, the tulip.
Welp, I looked out the window and saw a blue hair crossing the street from my driveway, dressed in a nice suit, carrying a tulip. I shouted 'hey, did you just pinch one of my tulips?' and she just kept walking. An old bat stole one of my tulips!
Imagine if I had done the same to her? Shoot, if I walked too close to her lawn and my shadow crossed it, she'd probably tell me to get out her yard. Stole a tulip. What the heck? She was dressed really nice. I think she must have been going somewhere for Easter dinner. I wonder if she presented someone with a bouquet of stolen flowers, or just my lone tulip?!

Socks Are Like Gold
I am wearing a pair of red wool socks. I wear them often around the house. Tonight the guy delivering my chicken cutlet sub commented 'nice socks.' He went on to tell me that he paid $5 for a pair of socks at Bob's and they are already all stretched out. They would not last more than 2 weeks. All of his good socks are stolen by his kids. His kid comes into his room and steals his socks as soon as he buys them. You can't buy a good pair of socks, and when you do your kid steals them. Socks are like gold.

Forget Freddie & Jason. Fear the Hills.
First 'The Hills Have Eyes,' now 'Silent Hill.' America is suddenly very afraid of hills. I guess when there are something like 20 Friday the 13th and Elm Street movies combined, it was a pretty good indication that the horror genre was getting a little stale. But hills? Yikes.

According to today's New York Newsday and CNNSI.com, Barry Zito's former Athletics teammates Jason Giambi and Johnny Damon said they believe Zito, who's due to become a free agent after this season, would thrive in NewYork. What the hell does Damon know about thriving in NY? As of today, he has not played a game their yet.

Just saw a commercial for the Bedazzler. You might recall the Bedazzler as a tool used to decorate clothing or whatever with rhinestones. For example, if were to write this post in rhinestones, I'd use the Bedazzler. Tana, the runner- up from last season's Apprentice was the spokesperson. In one of her tasks on the show she gussied up t- shirts with the Bedazzler and helped her team to victory. She may not have won a job with The Donald, but she did win an endorsement deal with the good people at Bedazzler Inc.
April Fool's Day
As an admitted jackass, and someone who generally surrounds himself with like minded folk, most days carry the same weight as April Fool's Day in my world. At least once daily someone thinks I am pulling a prank or telling an outright lie. So as New Year's Eve is amateur night in terms of social activity, meaning everyone goes out partying, April Fool's Day is amateur night when compared to the daily life of me and many of my friends.
Is that ketchup on your tie?
